BRAFB Mural

Jon Styer of At Ease Designs created this mural as part of a larger project for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in Verona, Virginia. To execute, he had gotten quotes for vinyl wall decals from local sign companies, but the cost was prohibitive, and the idea of generating and applying that much plastic did not seem like an environmentally sustainable option. Instead, he reached out to me and I was able to hand paint the imagery for a fraction of the cost. Producing less plastic while contributing to the livelihood of a local artist were values that aligned more with both At Ease and the Food Bank, creating a win-win-win for all of us.
